Reactive Metal Heat Exchangers for Corrosive Applications

Some industrial applications such as Nitrogen and Phosphorus based Fertilizer Industries and other specialty Chemical markets require Heat Exchangers to handle highly corrosive applications. For these highly corrosive applications, typical Heat Exchanger materials will not be suitable and Reactive Metals may be the best solution. Reactive Metals such as; Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, Nickel Alloys ( VDM Alloy 31®, Hastelloys®, Inconels® ) and Duplex and Austenitic Stainless Steels all offer resistance to highly corrosive processing materials during extreme pressure and temperature operating conditions.
